Key Responsibilities:

• 2D Animation Production:

  Design and animate characters, symbols, UI elements, and backgrounds using Spine 2D.

• Game-Focused Animation:

  Create stylized, fluid, and visually appealing animations tailored for slot game dynamics.

• Cross-Team Collaboration:

  Work closely with designers, artists, and developers to align animations with gameplay mechanics, pacing, and visual direction.

• Optimization & Performance:

  Optimize animations for smooth performance across multiple platforms and resolutions.

• Iteration & Polish:

  Refine animations based on feedback to achieve high-quality results.

• Integration Support:

  Collaborate with developers to integrate Spine animations into the game engine (Unity experience is a plus).

• Asset Management:

  Maintain animation libraries and ensure a consistent visual style across projects.

• Creative Contribution:

  Participate in brainstorms and contribute ideas that enhance transitions, game feel, and overall player engagement.

Requirements:

• Experience:

  3+ years as a 2D/Spine Animator, preferably in slot, mobile, or casual games.

• Portfolio:

  Strong portfolio showcasing Spine 2D work (slot animation experience is a big advantage).

• Animation Principles:

  Excellent understanding of movement, timing, anticipation, and character-driven animation.

• Technical Skills:

  Familiarity with integrating Spine animations into game engines; Unity experience is highly beneficial.

• Industry Knowledge:

  Solid understanding of slot game mechanics, pacing, and visual storytelling.

• Soft Skills:

  Strong communication abilities and comfort working within a collaborative team.

• Tools:

  Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and/or After Effects.

Nice to Have:

• Experience creating VFX or animation-driven visual effects for slot games 
• Knowledge of 2D art fundamentals (composition, color, lighting) 
• Experience with other animation tools or custom pipelines 
• Understanding of player engagement principles in iGaming
