2D Concept Artist

At BattleBucks, we’re building the future of a skill-based gaming platform where competitive play meets IRL rewards. We’re looking for a Concept Artist (Characters) to help shape the visual identity of our games and platform. From designing common, epic, legendary and special skins to bringing characters and weapons to life, your work will directly fuel the player experience.

What You’ll Do

• Create innovative concept sketches for characters and gun skins, from fast explorations to polished final artwork.
• Design skin variations (common, epic, legendary & special) that enhance customization and player expression.
• Produce high-quality art assets aligned with BattleBucks’ evolving art style.
• Collaborate with Game Designers, 3D Artists, UI Artists, and Founders to ensure art integrates seamlessly into production.
• Contribute storyboards and proof-of-concept visuals to support new features and content.
• Continuously develop your artistic range and explore new creative skill areas.

What You Bring

• 3–5+ years of professional experience as a Concept Artist (portfolio with relevant character art required).
• Strong grasp of human anatomy, composition, and color theory.
• Excellent rendering skills and ability to adapt across multiple art styles.
• Proven ability to generate creative, original ideas consistently.
• Solution-oriented mindset with strong collaboration skills.
• BFA or equivalent qualification in art or design.
• Proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Bonus: Familiarity with Unity Engine, 3D tools, and Figma.
