Job Description

Sales & Business Development

  • Drive sales growth and achieve revenue targets across the assigned zone.
  • Develop and implement zonal sales strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Expand market share by identifying new business opportunities and channels.

Team Leadership & Management

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate Regional/Area Sales Managers and field sales teams.
  • Monitor team performance, set KPIs, and ensure achievement of individual and team targets.
  • Conduct training and capability-building sessions for sales teams.

Channel & Distribution Management

  • Strengthen distributor and retailer networks for deeper market penetration.
  • Ensure proper product placement, visibility, and availability across channels (GT, MT, E-commerce, etc.).
  • Manage distributor ROI, stock levels, and supply chain efficiency.

Market Expansion & Strategy

  • Analyze zonal market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
  • Develop localized marketing and sales initiatives to suit regional dynamics.
  • Support new product launches and promotional campaigns in the zone.

Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, pricing, credit norms, and compliance guidelines.
  • Monitor secondary and tertiary sales, returns, and claims management.
  • Optimize trade spends and ensure budget utilization within the zone.

Performance Analysis & Reporting

  • Track sales performance, market share, and profitability at zonal level.
  • Prepare regular MIS reports for senior management.
  • Provide insights for strategic decision-making.

Customer & Stakeholder Relationship Management

  • Build strong relationships with key distributors, retailers, and trade partners.
  • Address escalations and resolve conflicts to maintain business continuity.
  • Represent the company in trade forums, events, and business meetings.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year

Experience:

  • FMCG: 10 years (Preferred)
  • Sales & Marketing : 10 years (Preferred)
