Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site teaching role for a Yoga Teacher, located in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The Yoga Teacher will be responsible for conducting yoga sessions, developing and leading classes in various styles such as Ashtanga and Vinyasa yoga, and providing instruction tailored to individual or group needs. Additional responsibilities include teaching proper techniques, guiding students in mindfulness practices, ensuring safety in postures, and fostering a positive learning environment. The teacher will actively contribute to promoting wellness and a balanced lifestyle among students and faculty.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Yoga Instruction with expertise in Ashtanga and Vinyasa yoga practices
• Strong Teaching skills to create engaging and adaptive yoga sessions
• Excellent Communication abilities to guide and support participants effectively
• Adept at creating a safe and inclusive space for individuals with diverse abilities
• Certification from a reputable yoga teacher training program
• Previous experience as a Yoga Instructor is highly advantageous
• Passion for promoting mindfulness, health, and wellbeing
• Flexibility and enthusiasm to work with diverse groups in an academic setting
