Duties

• Plan and deliver engaging physical education lessons aligned with curriculum standards
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support individual growth
• Organize and supervise sports, fitness activities, and recreational events
• Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy competition among students
• Maintain a safe environment by enforcing safety guidelines during activities
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate physical education with other academic subjects
• Encourage student participation in extracurricular sports and fitness programs
• Keep accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student achievements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or related field; university experience preferred
• Valid teaching certification or licensure in physical education (if applicable)
• Strong knowledge of physical fitness, sports techniques, and health education principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to motivate students of diverse backgrounds
• Ability to create an inclusive environment that encourages participation from all students
• Prior experience working within an educational setting is advantageous
• Passion for promoting healthy lifestyles and physical activity among youth
