Resumo desta função This position is part of the Hardware Group, which is responsible for designing electronics, from requirements to production release, embedded in Whirlpool Appliances. This Group executes engineering tasks, as part of cross-functional teams, for new product development programs and is responsible for concepts, requirements, design, analysis, and testing. The specifics of this role are focused on the development of 3D models of electronic components and Printed Circuit Board Assemblies while ensuring quality and the proper fit with mechanical interfaces, and on converting the designs of engineers into technical drawings. Create and update engineering drawings for production and manufacturing. Create preliminary design sketches for conceptual analysis. Ensure final designs comply with regulations and quality standards. Perform complex tolerance analysis and validation, and establish component tolerances in accordance with manufacturing capabilities; Participate in design review activities to ensure that the design complies with the aesthetic and documentation guidelines before commercially using it. Collaborates with hardware engineers to convert designs into technical plans. Track and act on engineering drawing and specification change requests on time. Identify potential operational issues and redesign products to improve functionality. Requisitos mínimos Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or in Technical Design/Drafting; At least 6 years of proven experience as a Drafter using CAD; Interpersonal skills to work within a team, taking direction from Project Managers and Engineers; Communication skills with an emphasis on reading and writing for creating documentation and reports; Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities are needed to develop creative solutions. Experience using a PLM tool to specify parts, create product structure, and receive/complete tasks; Able to effectively communicate in English (writing and conversation); Ability to multitask and manage several projects at a time and to meet deadlines. Ability to create Add, Delete, or Replace parts’ Change Notices, and to write CNs to document complex and coordinated changes. Ability to perform independent research to determine (or confirm) the effect of change on other components or assemblies. Job Location – Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, and Indore India. Key Responsibilities Support the technical implementation of PriceFX modules including QuoteConfigurator, PriceBuilder, RebateManager, and others. Collaborate with senior engineers and business analysts to gather requirements and implement solutions Write and maintain Groovy scripts to implement custom business logic and calculations within PriceFX. Develop, and maintain integrations using Apache Camel, REST APIs, and other middleware tools. Develop backend components and services using Java and frontend elements using JavaScript when required. Create and maintain technical documentation, best practices, and reusable assets. What You’ll Bring: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Mandatory Skills 2+ years of experience in PriceFX implementation. Proficient in Groovy scripting and PriceFX calculation logic setup. Hands-on experience in Java (Spring Boot preferred). Experience with Apache Camel for integration flows and routing.
