Job Description: X-Ray & CBCT Technician
The X-Ray & CBCT Technician is responsible for operating radiographic and cone beam CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images. The role includes preparing patients, explaining procedures, and ensuring proper positioning for accurate imaging. The technician must follow radiation safety protocols and maintain compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities also include equipment calibration, routine maintenance checks, and image documentation. The technician works closely with dentists/physicians to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Maintaining patient comfort, confidentiality, and infection control standards is essential. Basic record-keeping and reporting are also part of the role.
