Workday HRIS Analyst - Benefits, Absence

About the Role:

• Work with both internal and external stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements and drive the planning, development, testing, and implementation of the Workday HCM system
• Ensuring the integrity of HR Systems, primarily but not limited to Workday are efficiently utilized, maintained and available throughout Core responsibilities include troubleshooting issues, reporting, design, configuration and testing to implement solutions to drive adoption and ease of use
• Provide subject matter expertise on HR systems and participate in enhancement design and scoping especially through the initial implementation phase
• Develop and articulate solution options that consider technical landscape as well as incorporate user experience, scalability, security and best practices
• Clearly highlight the merits and disadvantages of solution options to support informed decisions by our customers
• Regularly evaluate current state of systems to identify and recommend process improvements, system enhancements, and/or new applications to support business strategies and operational needs

Who You Are and what you bring:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Workday, must have 3 years of experience with a strong focus on Benefits, Total rewards, Compensation, and proven experience with system implementation & management
• Experience with Benefits integrations, other Workday integration knowledge [CCW, studio, PECI, PICOFF] or expertise with any two of the Workday modules Absence, Recruitment, Talent is preferable
• Expertise with Workday dashboards, reports, Security, EIBs etc
• Experience with agile methodologies & product management tools [eg, Jira]

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Workday, experience in Data analysis & using system generated reports to drive business decisions
• Certifications [preferred but not mandatory]:
• Workday HCM

Soft Skills:

• Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple initiatives in fast paced environment
• Excellent communication & stakeholder management with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership and cross functional teams
• A self-starter with proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues & strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work both independently & as part of a collaborative team
