Workday Financial Consultant

Role & responsibilities

• Provide support and troubleshoot issues related to Workday Financials, including business processes, workflows and approval chains in Workday
• Perform configuration changes and system enhancements for key processes of Record to Report, Source to Pay and Lead to Cash
• Maintain master data and hierarchies in Workday financial management systems (legal entities, cost centers, Chart of accounts, spend categories, purchase items, expense items, projects, etc.)
• Collaborate with global finance accounting and procurement teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective system configurations.
• Manage the full lifecycle of Workday's updates, including impact analysis, testing, and deployment.
• Build and maintain a wide range of reports, dashboards, and analytics within Workday to support financial reporting and analysis.
• Monitor and support data integrations with internal and external financial systems, ensuring data integrity and timely processing

Preferred candidate profile

• 3-7 years of hands-on experience as a Workday Financials Administrator or a similar role.
• Proven expertise in configuring and supporting Workday Financial Management modules.
• Experience working in a global, multi-currency, and multi-entity environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with formal ticketing and change management systems.
