Workday Consultant

Role & responsibilities

• 4-6 years of Workday HCM Test Automation experience. Hands-on experience with Workday testing ing and familiarity with Workday business processes Business process and Integrations.
• Proficiency in test automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Selenium, Java, Python, Workday-specific tools like Workday Studio or Workdays Integration Cloud).
• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for Workday modules including HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Absence management, Talent management etc..
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Workday Functional Consultants, and configuration teams to understand requirements and define Automation Test Scenarios
• Design and implement automation frameworks and tools to improve test coverage and efficiency.
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, TestRail).
• Perform Workday Business process functional, regression, integration, and system testing for Workday applications and related integrations.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with developers to resolve issues.
• Maintain and update test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Participate in Workday releases and patches testing, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Assist in continuous improvement of testing processes and best practices in Workday test automation.
• Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) during UAT cycle and work with Business users to leverage Test Automation Test scripts.
