Job Description

Job Brief

We, at Hubtech, are looking for skilled WordPress developers to develop both back-end and front-end components of business websites, as well as build and implement WordPress themes and plugins.

Main Responsibilities for WordPress Developer

Develop and troubleshoot WordPress themes and plugins
Work with third-party applications and APIs
Design and implement the website front-end, and develop the website architecture
Oversee the website back-end including database and server integration
Conduct website performance tests and implements tools for monitoring
Troubleshoot content issues and conduct WordPress training with clients

Key Requirements

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 2+ years experience in WordPress development (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
Advanced knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
Experience in building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
Expertise in front-end frameworks, like Bootstrap or Foundation
Experience working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
Proficient understanding of website architecture, aesthetics, and SEO perspectives
Knowledge of hosting and managing multiple sites using WPEngine
Good understanding of Bitbucket or GitHub repositories
Fluent in English to communicate effectively
Familiarity with React.js, ASP.NET, Ruby, and PHP
Attention to detail in regard to coding standards and code formatting
Great organizational and time management skills
Ability to work in an Agile environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
