WordPress Developer

We are looking for a Senior Front End Developer to build high-performance, robust and scalable UI components for our applications, to join the fun in the Starberry Constellation!

You will be working with the UK Maintenance Team and working on updates to our existing clients'

websites. This can be anything from changing images to creating new pages and functions.

All our websites are responsive and built on the various versions of the Bootstrap Framework.

You must have experience in coding in HTML, SCSS, CSS, basic JavaScript (JQuery) and an

understanding of cross-browser implementation and testing. You should have good knowledge of W3C standards and implementing SEO recommendations.

This is a position suitable for a highly independent, proactive individual who loves working both in a team and on their own, able to organise themselves and manage deadlines with minimum supervision.

The Role

Working in the Maintenance Team means that no two days are the same. One minute you may be altering the images of staff members, then the next you might be swapping out a property data feed. There is a wide and interesting variety of tasks that all need to be completed in tight timescales, but full training and support will be given to enable you to thrive within the company.

We are looking for someone with a can-do-will-do approach who is not afraid of asking for help when needed.

● Working in a fast paced, quickly evolving environment you will assess client requests and

either carry out the work or escalate to the next level

● ImplementSEOreport recommendations for existing clients. Many of these will have been

created by the Starberry SEO team.

● Amend existing websites as per client requests

● Build new pages using existing site frameworks

● Carry out property data feed changes when clients change CRM providers.

● Excellent command of written and spoken English

Essential Skills Required:

● An experienced front end web site developer skilled in HTML, Bootstrap, image

manipulation, Prepros FTP and Git.

● Implementing SEO recommended changes.

● Very strong knowledge of CSS, Sass & CSS in JS.

● Attention to UI detail is a must.

● Good knowledge of using ticket management systems like Zendesk

● Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility, responsive webpages and implementation

across devices.

● CSS3 – Desirable

● WordPress + Elementor

● Understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery and

AJAX

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
