Wordpress Developer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented and passionate WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of WordPress, including theme and plugin development, as well as front-end and back-end capabilities. You'll be working closely with our design, content, and marketing teams to create beautiful, responsive, and high-performing websites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain WordPress-based websites.
• Customize existing themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
• Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins when necessary.
• Ensure the performance, security, and responsiveness of websites.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform regular updates and maintenance.
• Collaborate with designers to turn mockups and wireframes into fully functional websites.
• Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in WordPress development.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience with WordPress CMS, including theme and plugin development.
• Familiarity with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.
• Understanding of responsive and mobile-first design.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Good understanding of SEO, performance optimization, and accessibility standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points):

• Experience with WooCommerce or other WordPress eCommerce plugins.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and WordPress headless CMS.
• Knowledge of modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue).
• Previous experience in an agency or collaborative development environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
