About the Role

As an WordPress Developer at Skyapex, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality websites that are optimized for user experience and performance. You will collaborate closely with our digital marketing team to implement SEO best practices, integrate marketing tools, and ensure seamless functionality across all devices.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, design, and maintain WordPress websites from scratch or customize existing themes.

Work with the digital marketing team to integrate SEO tools and strategies for improved search engine rankings.

Ensure plugins are kept updated and compatible with new WordPress versions.

Perform regular website updates, backups, and security audits to protect against vulnerabilities.

Set up user roles and permissions for managing content within the WordPress admin panel.

Keep up with the latest WordPress trends, tools, and updates to ensure clients benefit from the most current web development practices.

et up and manage e-commerce platforms like WooCommerce, ensuring secure payment gateways and smooth checkout processes.

Qualifications

Strong experience in building and customizing WordPress themes and plugins.

Understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) principles to create visually appealing and intuitive websites

Knowledge of website security practices, performance optimization, and troubleshooting

Strong verbal and written communication skills for liaising with clients.

Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., WooCommerce).

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Information Technology, or a related field.
