Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated WordPress Developer with 1–2 years of hands-on experience in building, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of WordPress themes, plugins, responsive design, and basic front-end/back-end development concepts.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
• Convert design mockups (Figma/PSD/HTML) into responsive WordPress sites.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility, mobile responsiveness, and performance optimization.
• Manage website updates, security patches, and regular backups.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in WordPress websites.
• Work closely with designers, content teams, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Optimize websites for SEO, speed, and scalability.
• Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends, tools, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1–2 years of professional experience in WordPress development.
• Strong knowledge of WordPress core, themes, and plugins.
• Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Familiarity with MySQL databases and basic database queries.
• Experience with page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg, etc.).
• Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Basic knowledge of SEO principles and performance optimization.
• Experience working with Git/version control (added advantage).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have (Preferred but not mandatory)

• Experience with WooCommerce or other eCommerce plugins.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and integrating third-party APIs with WordPress.
• Familiarity with website hosting, cPanel, and domain management.
• Exposure to security best practices in WordPress.

Soft Skills

• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
