Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Website Developer with over 4 years of hands-on experience in developing, maintaining, and optimizing websites using WordPress, PHP, and related web technologies. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of HTML/CSS/JavaScript, SQL, and a working knowledge of SEO best practices and SEMrush for site performance and traffic analysis. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain responsive websites using WordPress, custom PHP, and modern front-end technologies. * Customize themes, plugins, and templates to meet business and client requirements. * Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. * Manage and optimize MySQL/SQL databases for performance and reliability. * Implement on-page SEO strategies, site structure enhancements, and performance improvements. * Use SEMrush to monitor website health, keyword rankings, backlinks, and technical SEO issues. * Collaborate with designers, marketers, and other developers to deliver high-quality digital experiences. * Stay updated with the latest web development trends, security standards, and SEO best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications: * 4+ years of experience in WordPress and PHP development. * Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (vanilla and basic libraries). * Strong knowledge of SQL/MySQL databases. * Hands-on experience with SEMrush or similar SEO tools * In-depth understanding of SEO fundamentals and best practices. * Familiarity with version control systems like Git is a plus. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. * Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have): * Experience with page builders like Elementor or WPBakery. * Understanding of Google Analytics, Search Console, and schema markup. * Experience with performance optimization tools (e.g., GTmetrix, Lighthouse). * Basic graphic design skills using tools like Figma, Canva, or Adobe XD
