About the Role

Genesis Technologies is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic PHP/WordPress Developer to join our growing team. If you have a strong command over PHP, WordPress, and front-end fundamentals—and enjoy turning designs into functional, user-friendly websites—this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins.
• Write clean, well-structured, and reusable code using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Integrate third-party APIs and payment gateways.
• Work closely with UI/UX designers to bring mockups to life with responsive layouts.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance across devices and browsers.
• Maintain existing WordPress websites and perform regular updates and enhancements.
• Follow best practices in website security, code standards, and SEO optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, marketers, and backend developers.
• Strong command over relational and non-relational databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL; ability to understand and write complex database queries.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong understanding of custom theme and plugin development.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery, and responsive design.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Solid knowledge of WordPress core, hooks, filters, and REST APIs.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Nice to Have

• Strong grip on JavaScript and its frameworks like React, Next.js, Nest.js, Node.js.
• Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB, and understanding of ORM tools.
• Proficiency with advanced styling frameworks like Material UI and Tailwind CSS.
• Good hands-on experience in responsive designing for cross-device compatibility.

Location: Indore (Work From Office)
Experience Required: 2–5 Years

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹22,880.00 - ₹50,562.59 per month
