Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and passionate WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience developing custom WordPress themes and plugins, maintaining websites, optimizing performance, and ensuring responsive design. You will collaborate with designers, marketers, and content creators to bring website projects to life and ensure high-quality digital experiences. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain responsive WordPress websites. Convert design mockups (Figma, PSD, Adobe XD) into custom WordPress themes. Develop and customize plugins to meet specific project requirements. Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness. Ensure cross-browser compatibility and troubleshoot issues across different platforms. Maintain and update existing websites, including WordPress core, themes, and plugins. Collaborate with UI/UX designers, SEO experts, and content teams to meet client goals. Implement best practices in coding, security, and performance. Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed. Document technical processes and provide support to team members when necessary. Requirements: Proven experience as a WordPress Developer (2+ years preferred). Strong understanding of WordPress architecture, themes, and plugins. Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery. Experience with PHP and MySQL. Familiarity with version control systems like Git. Experience with page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg, etc.). Knowledge of SEO principles and website performance optimization. Experience in WooCommerce and eCommerce development is a plus. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field. Experience with REST APIs and headless WordPress (optional). Understanding of accessibility standards and data privacy laws (GDPR, etc.).
