Description
Job Summary: We are looking for a creative and technically skilled WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of PHP , WordPress core, and front-end development, with the added ability to design simple visuals or banners using Canva . You will work closely with designers and content creators to build responsive, high-performance websites. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress websites, themes, and plugins. Implement responsive front-end design using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery. Build and customize WooCommerce stores and extensions. Collaborate with designers to translate UI/UX wireframes into working websites. Create basic graphics or web banners using Canva for web and social use. Optimize website speed, security, and SEO. Handle site migrations, backups, and performance monitoring. Troubleshoot and resolve website bugs or plugin conflicts. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proficiency in WordPress , PHP , MySQL , HTML , CSS , and JavaScript . Experience with Elementor , ACF , WooCommerce , and theme customization. Basic knowledge of graphic tools like Canva to create simple visual content. Familiarity with REST APIs , AJAX, and JSON. Understanding of SEO , performance optimization , and security best practices . Familiarity with Git version control and basic deployment processes. Ability to manage hosting (cPanel, domain, DNS) and troubleshoot server-side issues. Nice to Have: Experience with custom plugin development. Exposure to Laravel or other PHP frameworks. Knowledge of basic marketing design principles. Portfolio showcasing both website development and Canva designs (if available).
