It is important to stay updated on the latest web technologies, trends, and WordPress updates. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in developing custom WordPress themes and plugins, as well as proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL. Experience with page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, and Gutenberg is required. An understanding of responsive and mobile-first design principles, familiarity with SEO fundamentals and web performance optimization, and experience integrating third-party APIs and services are also necessary.
