Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and experienced WordPress Backend Developer who can build custom plugins, develop and modify themes, and work seamlessly with PHP-based frameworks like Core PHP and Laravel. The ideal candidate should also have strong communication skills and be confident in handling client interactions and calls when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress plugins and themes from scratch.
• Work with Core PHP, Laravel, and other frameworks as needed.
• Optimize website backend performance, security, and scalability.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration.
• Troubleshoot issues, debug code, and implement fixes.
• Participate in client calls to gather requirements and provide updates.
• Maintain clean, well-documented code and follow best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree B.Tech in Computer Science / IT or related field
• 3+ years of experience in WordPress backend development.
• Expertise in custom plugin and theme development.
• Strong knowledge of Core PHP, Laravel, and MySQL.
• Good understanding of WordPress architecture, REST APIs, hooks, and filters.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Confident and client-friendly attitude — able to take calls and explain technical concepts clearly.
• Highly responsible with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Demonstrates leadership qualities and can take ownership of projects
• Experience with other PHP frameworks or CMS platforms is a plus.
