Wireless Network Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage

  enterprise wireless and wired network solutions

  .
• Configure and troubleshoot

  Cisco routing and switching platforms

  including

  ISR (1800/1900/2900/3900/4000)

  ,

  ASR 1000

  ,

  Catalyst 6500/6800/4500/3850

  , etc.
• Implement and support

  LAN/WAN and wireless infrastructure

  , including

  Access Points, Controllers, and WLC management

  .
• Manage and optimize

  routing and switching protocols

  such as

  OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, STP, RSTP, MSTP, LACP, VLAN, VTP, VSS, VXLAN-EVPN

  .
• Conduct

  network installation, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting

  for routers, switches, and wireless devices.
• Perform

  wireless site surveys, capacity planning, and performance tuning

  .
• Collaborate with architecture and operations teams to design and document

  network solutions (HLD/LLD)

  .
• Provide

  technical consulting and client-facing support

  , ensuring clear communication of strategies and solutions to customers and stakeholders.
• Ensure

  network security, scalability, and redundancy

  in all deployments.
• Participate in

  root cause analysis (RCA)

  and resolve critical incidents promptly.

Required Skills (Must-Have):

• Strong understanding and practical experience in

  Routing & Switching technologies

  :

• IGP, OSPF, EGP, BGP, STP, RSTP, VTP, VSS, vPC, vDC, MSTP, LACP, VLAN

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  Cisco Enterprise Networking platforms

  :

• ISR/ASR Routers, Catalyst 4500/6500/6800/3850 Series Switches

  .
• Proven expertise in

  Wireless Networking

  (Cisco WLCs, Access Points, SSID design, RF optimization, and WLAN troubleshooting).
• Experienced in

  installation, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting

  of Cisco routers, switches, and wireless solutions.
• Strong understanding of

  LAN/WAN/WLAN protocols and enterprise network design principles

  .
• Excellent communication skillsable to articulate technical strategies, architectures, and design recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  
• Strong

  client-facing, consulting, and cross-functional collaboration

  skills.

Desired Skills (Good to Have):

• Experience in conducting

  customer workshops, high-level design (HLD), and low-level design (LLD)

  documentation.
• Exposure to

  Service Provider (SP) Domain

  – XR OS,

  ASR9K, BGP, MPLS, BNG, Segment Routing

  .
• Knowledge of

  next-generation networking technologies

  such as

  SDA (Software Defined Access)

  ,

  SD-WAN

  , and

  ACI

  .
• Familiarity with

  Cisco Nexus switches, UCS, and HyperFlex

  solutions.

• Network automation

  experience using

  Python, Ansible, GoLang, or Splunk

  .

Education & Certifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree

  in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related engineering discipline (BE/B.Tech/B.Sc).

• CCNA

  – Mandatory.

• CCNP

  – Preferred.

• CCIE (Enterprise Infrastructure)

  – Highly desirable.
