Wireless Meraki Network Architect

As a Network Architect Engineer at EY, your role will be pivotal in shaping the enterprise network strategy. You will be responsible for validating, lab testing, certifying, and working with Network, Infosec, Legal, and vendors group to provide Wi-Fi technology solutions and improvements for the Office Connect Network portfolio. Your key responsibilities will include: - Being the office connect POC and trusted advisor for support vendors, infosec, legal, and security teams - Driving the architectural design for LAN and Wi-Fi technologies, ensuring scalability, performance, and security - Providing L4 escalation support for data network services across the global Ernst & Young environment - Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving complex network issues - Developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation and standards for network configurations and practices - Collaborating with appropriate teams to create and gain approval on global technology standards and reference architectures - Staying ahead of technological advancements in networking to recommend and integrate cutting-edge solutions - Managing BAU projects from conception through to implementation - Utilizing EY's advanced analytics to monitor and assess network health, performance metrics, and usage patterns - Leveraging data from network monitoring tools to make informed decisions on network upgrades, capacity planning, and optimization strategies To qualify for this role, you must have: - 12+ years of experience in Network Design or Architect teams - A bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or a related discipline, plus industry accreditation or equivalent work experience - Advanced skills in planning, designing, and troubleshooting complex network environments - Strong interpersonal and team working skills across matrixed client, supplier, and geographically dispersed virtual teams - Excellent understanding of Office Connect product portfolio and ability to bring knowledge of this to help facilitate growth and adoption across regions - Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information to a diverse business audience - Experience developing, managing, and presenting business cases and strategic plans Ideally, you'll also have: - Industry accreditation like CCNA R&S, CCNP R&S, CCNA Wireless, CCNP, Meraki Wireless certifications or equivalent knowledge - Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, and rapid change - Ability to work and team with a multitude of different people within and outside of IT to balance demands - Ability to deal efficiently with escalations and difficult situations/people under pressure - Ability to understand and integrate cultural as well as individual differences and motives and to work in virtual cross-cultural, cross-border global teams - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English As part of this role, you'll work in a highly integrated, globally diverse team with the opportunity and tools to grow, develop, and drive your career forward.
