Job Description

We are looking for a talented Wireless LAN Controller (WLC) Administrator to become a part of our dynamic IT infrastructure team. Ideal candidates should possess 5-7 years of hands-on experience in managing and optimizing Aruba Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC) and related technologies within large-scale enterprise environments. Your primary responsibility will involve the deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of wireless networking solutions. This includes ensuring seamless connectivity, security, and performance for our enterprise-level network infrastructure. Your key responsibilities will include: - Installing, configuring, and managing Aruba Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC) for remote and on-premise locations. - Deploying and optimizing Aruba wireless networks to support numerous users, devices, and high traffic loads. - Integrating with other networking equipment and systems such as switches, routers, and access points. - Providing second and third-level support for wireless network-related incidents. - Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to wireless network connectivity, performance, and security using diagnostic tools like Aruba AirWave, ClearPass, and others. - Implementing and maintaining Aruba wireless security policies and protocols, collaborating with security teams to ensure compliance with corporate standards. Additionally, you will be involved in designing wireless network architecture, conducting site surveys, RF planning, optimizing wireless networks, planning and executing firmware and software upgrades, documenting configurations, providing training to junior engineers, and collaborating with other IT teams. Qualifications: - 5-7 years of experience with Aruba WLCs and wireless network administration. - Proficiency in Aruba Networks hardware and software, networking protocols, wireless technologies, and network security tools. - Aruba Certified Mobility Associate (ACMA) or higher certification preferred. - Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, teamwork abilities, and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications: - Knowledge of network automation and scripting. - Familiarity with advanced Wi-Fi technologies and network monitoring tools.
