Wholesale Credit Risk - In-Business Quality Assurance Testing Strategy Lead

Role Overview: As part of the Institutional Credit Managements (ICM) organization, you will be responsible for providing an integrated end-to-end credit underwriting, identification, measurement, management, monitoring, and reporting for wholesale credit businesses. Your role in Wholesale Credit Risk (WCR) In-Business Quality Assurance (QA) will involve verifying established standards and processes, assessing the quality of policies and practices, and identifying risks associated with operational and control weaknesses. Key Responsibilities: - Stay up to date with WCR policy, procedure, and standards to develop centralized test scripts for Quality Assurance Reviews (QARs). - Lead the testing strategy drafting and coordination in alignment with business needs and test requirements. - Assist in capacity planning, testing strategy development, and test script development for effective execution of QARs. - Manage relationships with multiple stakeholders, including QA heads, and provide valuable input through active interactions and participation in key committees. - Represent IBQA in working groups for internal and regulatory remediations. - Assist in establishing WCR IBQA policies, procedures, risk assessment, and controls for effective QA coverage. - Stay informed of changes to rules/regulations and industry news, including regulatory findings. - Support internal projects and initiatives of WLCR/CCR/Data IBQA. - Support WCR IBQA Voice of the Employee (VOE) and diversity and inclusion initiatives. - Travel may be required (less than 10%). Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or higher in Business (MBA) or a related subject. - 12-14 years of experience in wholesale banking, credit risk management, operations, or internal audit at an investment or large commercial bank. - Advanced understanding of risk management and control frameworks related to wholesale lending management. - Proficient in designing and implementing assurance frameworks, reporting findings to senior management, and continuous improvement. - Strong knowledge of policies and procedures with the ability to drive seamless change. - Excellent presentation preparation skills for seniors. - Adherence to the control environment, including Quality Assurance.
