Job Description

As a Senior Professor in the esteemed music department, your role will involve teaching Western vocal techniques and music production courses. Your responsibilities will include: - Teaching Western vocal techniques such as classical, musical theater, and contemporary styles - Developing and implementing curriculum for Western vocal courses - Teaching music production courses covering recording, editing, and mixing - Mentoring and guiding students in vocal development, performance preparation, and music production projects - Conducting masterclasses, workshops, and recitals - Participating in departmental service and committee work - Collaborating with colleagues to promote the growth and development of the music program To excel in this role, you will need to meet the following qualifications: - Master's degree in Music (Vocal Performance or Music Production) or a related field; DMA or Ph.D. preferred - Minimum 5 years of teaching experience at the college level - Strong background in Western classical and/or contemporary vocal performance and music production - Excellent teaching and mentoring skills - Ability to work with students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Proficiency in music production software and hardware (e.g., DAWs, plugins, recording equipment) Preferred qualifications for this position include: - Experience in teaching a wide range of vocal styles and genres - Familiarity with music technology and digital tools - Record of performances, recordings, and publications - Experience in curriculum development and assessment - Industry experience in music production and recording Join our team and contribute to the education and development of aspiring music professionals!,
