• Inventory management: Conducting regular inventory counts and audits, reporting any discrepancies, and using warehouse management systems to track stock.
• Loading and unloading: Operating equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload trucks and move materials around the warehouse.
• Safety and maintenance: Performing daily equipment checks, reporting any issues, and keeping the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
• Collaboration: Communicating with supervisors and other team members to ensure smooth operations and meet production goals.
• Required skills and qualifications
• Physical stamina: Ability to lift and move heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Attention to detail: Essential for accuracy in counting inventory and preparing orders.
• Equipment operation: Experience with or ability to learn to use forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment is often required.
