About SutraSnapperz:

SutraSnapperz is a renowned wedding photography company dedicated to capturing the essence of unforgettable moments through visual storytelling. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional quality and creativity in every project we undertake. As we continue to expand our team, we are seeking a Wedding Video Editor to join our team.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Video Editing: 


  • Review and select the best footage from multiple cameras to create cohesive wedding stories.
  • Edit raw video footage using traditional video editing techniques to produce polished, high-quality wedding videos.
  • Ensure smooth transitions, color correction, and audio synchronization.


2. Creative Collaboration:


  • Work closely with clients, photographers, and team members to understand the creative vision for each wedding project.
  • Incorporate client feedback into the editing process to meet their preferences.
  • Provide creative input to enhance the storytelling aspect of the videos.


3. Technical Proficiency:


  •    Stay updated with video editing software and tools to maintain technical proficiency.
  •    Manage and organize video assets and project files efficiently.
  •    Address technical issues that may arise during editing.


4. Quality Control:


  • Conduct quality checks to ensure that the final videos meet high visual and audio standards.
  • Continuously refine editing techniques to improve video production quality.


5. Project Management:


  • Handle multiple wedding video editing projects, meeting deadlines and project schedules.
  • Maintain clear project documentation to track progress and versions.




Qualifications:


  • Proven experience as a traditional video editor with a strong portfolio showcasing wedding video editing work. (Minimum 2 years experience)
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a passion for storytelling through video.
  • Must have knowledge of best practices of audio software & audio storytelling. 
  • Familiarity with colour correction, audio editing, and motion graphics is a plus.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to incorporate client feedback.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility to work outside regular hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet project deadlines.
  • A deep appreciation for the significance of weddings and the ability to capture the emotional essence of these events through video editing.




Education:


A bachelor's degree in film, video production, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent work experience and a strong portfolio will also be considered.
