Job Description

As a Wedding Decorator, your role involves designing, planning, and executing the visual aesthetic of wedding events. You will work closely with clients, wedding planners, florists, and venue staff to deliver a stress-free and visually stunning wedding experience. Key Responsibilities: - Consult with clients to understand their style, theme, vision, and budget. - Develop design concepts, mood boards, color palettes, and layout ideas. - Suggest themes, dcor styles, materials, and dcor options. - Conduct venue visits to evaluate space, lighting, and layout requirements. - Choose appropriate dcor items such as floral arrangements, drapery, lighting, centerpieces, furniture, backdrops, aisle dcor, linens, and signage. - Coordinate with vendors and suppliers (florists, lighting teams, rental companies, etc.). - Order, rent, or source all dcor materials needed for the event. - Oversee and participate in the setup and installation of all dcor elements before the event. - Ensure dcor is arranged safely, efficiently, and according to the approved design. - Make on-site adjustments as needed to ensure aesthetic quality. - Breakdown and remove dcor after the event, ensuring the venue is restored to the required condition. - Maintain clear communication with clients throughout the planning process. - Provide accurate cost estimates, budgets, and proposals. - Work collaboratively with wedding planners, photographers, caterers, and venue coordinators. - Ensure dcor aligns with client expectations and industry standards. - Address last-minute changes or issues during setup. - Manage timelines and ensure tasks are completed before guests arrive. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Strong creativity and eye for design, color, and aesthetics. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to manage time, multitask, and work under pressure. - Knowledge of dcor trends, floral arrangements, lighting options, and event styling. - Physical stamina for lifting, carrying, and installing dcor items. - Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. - Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. - Experience in event decoration, event planning, interior design, or related fields is preferred. Please note that this is a part-time job with expected hours of 14 per week. Food will be provided, and the work location is in person.,
