Job Description

Website & SEO Operations Manager

Mission: Maintain a high-volume Shopify catalogue (70,000+ SKUs), ensure flawless category mapping and SEO optimisation, manage all campaign uploads, and protect site integrity by preventing data, link, or naming errors.

Core Responsibilities

Product & Catalogue Management

  • Map scraped product data into correct Shopify categories/collections with consistent naming.
  • Maintain exact matching between Product Set names in Shopify, Meta (Facebook), Google Shopping, and catalogue campaigns.
  • Ensure product tags, attributes, and variants are correctly applied for filtering and promotions.
  • Run scheduled quality checks for broken links, missing images, and incorrect redirects.

SEO Optimisation

  • Write and maintain SEO-friendly titles, meta descriptions, alt tags, and product copy.
  • Implement and maintain schema markup for products.
  • Track rankings for priority categories and products.
  • Regularly run site audits (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog) and implement fixes.

Campaign & Promotion Management

  • Upload catalogue specials in advance with go-live and end dates.
  • Manage 100+ simultaneous campaigns while avoiding conflicts or duplication.
  • Coordinate with marketing to ensure site matches promotional material exactly.

Website Health & QA

  • Weekly checks for:
  • Broken links (internal and outbound)
  • Image loading errors
  • Price or promotion mismatches
  • Monitor site speed and mobile optimisation.
  • Track and resolve indexing issues in Google Search Console.

Process & Data Integrity

  • Build and maintain import templates and naming conventions so all new uploads are consistent.
  • Oversee integrations with Meta, Google Shopping, and other marketing channels.
  • Document processes so uploads and SEO work are repeatable and error-proof.

Skills & Tools

  • Shopify (bulk editing, metafields, collection logic, tagging)
  • SEO Tools (SEMRush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog)
  • Spreadsheet Mastery (Excel/Google Sheets for data mapping)
  • Product Feed Management (DataFeedWatch, Matrixify, or similar)
  • Google Search Console & Analytics
  • Meta Commerce Manager for Product Set management
  • Basic HTML/CSS for fixing formatting issues

Success Metrics

  • Zero naming mismatches between Shopify & Meta.
  • Zero broken links in weekly audits.
  • Improved organic traffic & conversions from SEO.
  • All promotions and catalogue uploads live exactly on schedule.
  • 100% campaign-to-site match on product availability and pricing.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
