As a Website Catalog & Merchandising Specialist, you will own the end-to-end presentation and performance of our online product catalog. You ll collaborate with marketing, and UX teams to ensure every product page is engaging, accurate, and optimized for conversion.

Key Responsibilities

Catalog Management

  • Upload and maintain product listings: titles, descriptions, attributes, and images.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across categories (price, specs, stock status).

Merchandising & Optimization

  • Plan and execute digital merchandising strategies (featured products, cross-sells, upsells).
  • Create and schedule homepage and category page promotions.
  • Monitor on-site search performance and refine filters, sort orders, and taxonomy.

Content & Visuals

  • Coordinate with design/photography teams for product imagery and banners.
  • Write SEO-friendly product copy that balances information and persuasion.

Performance Analysis

  • Track key metrics (click-through rate, conversion rate, average order value).
  • Run A/B tests for layout, content, and promotional placements.
  • Generate weekly/monthly reports with actionable insights.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with supply-chain to flag out-of-stock or end-of-life items.
  • Liaise with marketing to align on campaign calendars and promotional themes.
  • Partner with UX to enhance product discovery and navigation.

Qualifications & Skills

Education:

Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, or related field.

Experience:

  • 4-8 years in e-commerce catalog management or digital merchandising.
  • Proven track record of improving on-site engagement and revenue through merchandising.

Technical Skills:

  • Familiarity with CMS/Catalog platform like Shopify is mandatory
  • Comfort with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or equivalent).

Core Competencies:

  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret performance metrics.
  • Collaborative spirit and clear communication.
