Role Description:

We are seeking an experienced WebMethods Infrastructure Administrator with a solid background in designing, installing, and maintaining high-availability integration platforms using IBM webMethods suite. The ideal candidate should bring hands-on expertise in managing enterprise-grade middleware systems, troubleshooting production issues, and supporting business continuity operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, configure, and maintain webMethods products including Integration Server, API Gateway, Universal Messaging, Command Central, Terracotta, API Portal.

2. Set up and manage clustering, SSL certificates, keystores, truststores, and security hardening across the platform.

3. Perform upgrades, patching, and zero-downtime migrations in mission-critical environments.

4. Act as L3 support, working closely with DEV, QA, and Ops teams to troubleshoot complex issues.

5. Conduct ongoing platform health checks, performance tuning, and system monitoring (ELK/Kibana).

6. Implement disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity plans.

7. Support CI/CD deployment processes using tools like Azure DevOps and Jenkins.

8. Knowledge of containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)

9. Provide on-call production support.

Skills Required:

1. Strong experience with webMethods suite – especially API Gateway, Integration Server, Universal Messaging, Terracotta.

2. Expertise in high availability and clustering of webMethods components.

3. Proficiency in Linux (RHEL) environment.

4. Good understanding of integration patterns (Pub/Sub, SOA, REST, SOAP), JSON/XML data formats, and ESB principles.

5. Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.

6. Familiarity with network routing tools like Nginx and HAProxy.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

• Past roles as Integration Architect, webMethods Admin, or DevOps Engineer supporting large-scale transformation projects.
