Job Description

Role Overview: As a member of the Support organization at Oracle, your primary focus is to deliver post-sales support and solutions to Oracle's customer base. You will serve as an advocate for customer needs by resolving post-sales non-technical customer inquiries via phone and electronic means. Additionally, you will address technical questions related to the use of and troubleshooting for Oracle's Electronic Support Services. You will be a key point of contact for customers, responsible for fostering customer relationships with Support and providing guidance to internal Oracle employees on various customer situations and escalated issues. Key Responsibilities: - Interface with the customer's IT staff regularly, either on-site or remotely, to resolve moderately complex technical problems related to the installation, recommended maintenance, and use of Oracle products - Work independently with general guidance from management, advising on progress and status - Utilize independent judgment to perform varied and complex job duties, potentially in a project lead role - Demonstrate exceptional communication skills while working with customers independently to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction - Install, configure, and administer Oracle WebLogic Server - Possess expert knowledge of Oracle WebLogic Architecture, clustering, and domain configuration - Troubleshoot issues related to Oracle WebLogic with proficiency - Conduct WebLogic upgrades, patching, and performance tuning - Manage customer communication effectively and demonstrate customer management skills - Possess at least 7+ years of experience as an Oracle WebLogic Administrator/Consultant/Support Engineer - Hold a Bachelor's degree and/or Master's in Computer Science or equivalent - Possess Oracle WebLogic/SOA/OCI Certification (Preferred) - Optional skills in Docker, Kubernetes, and Containers are a plus - Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) 11g/12c/13c is advantageous - Exhibit strong technical troubleshooting skills, understanding of support processes, and ability to manage escalated technical situations - Identify proactive services that benefit customers, facilitate issues with Development and Support, and demonstrate strong analytical skills - Be prepared for potential travel requirements Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience preferred - 5 years of related experience in a similar role - Experience with Oracle's core products, applications, and tools is important Please note: Career Level for this role is IC3 (Note: Detailed description and job requirements have been omitted as they repeat information already covered in the Role Overview and Key Responsibilities sections),
