Web Developer

About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Web Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building and maintaining web pages using HTML and WordPress. This role involves managing frequent content updates, ensuring responsive designs, and collaborating with the team to deliver high-quality web pages consistently.

Key Responsibilities:

• HTML/CSS Development: Build and maintain clean, semantic, and responsive HTML pages.
• WordPress Development: Assist in developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites using themes, plugins, and custom code.
• Website Maintenance: Regularly perform updates, backups, and security checks on WordPress websites.
• Content Management: Upload and format content including text, images, and videos across web pages.
• SEO Implementation: Apply basic on-page SEO practices such as meta tags, headers, and image alt attributes.
• Bug Fixing: Identify and resolve layout and functional issues across platforms.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with designers, content writers, and other developers to deliver projects on time.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3.
• Solid understanding of WordPress CMS, including themes and plugins.
• Familiarity with responsive design principles.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to spotting and fixing issues.
• Basic knowledge of on-page SEO practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar web development role.

Preferred:

• Experience with page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery)
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git
• Understanding of basic JavaScript or PHP is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
