The Ghoman Group is looking for a talented Web Designer and Developer.

*Shift : Night Shift only (USA hours)

*Work from office only

*Timings: 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM

*Salary : Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 35,000

*Office Location: F-193, 2nd Floor, Focal Point - Industrial Area, Phase 8-B, SAS Nagar, Mohali, Punjab

*Food: Dinner is available.

*Shift: Monday to Saturday (Sunday Off)

*Important Note: No cab system

Web Designer : The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful web design. They should have superior user interface design skills. The successful candidate will be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts. They will be able to transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional designs.

Web Designer Responsibilities:

• Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
• Conceptualize original website design ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex roadblocks
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas
• Present and defend designs and key deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders
• Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards

Web Designer Skills :

• Proven work experience as a web designer
• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
• Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tools
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript for rapid prototyping
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
• Up-to-date with the latest Web trends, techniques and technologies
• BS/MS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design or a Visual Arts subject

Web Developer : A good Web Developer should have experience in designing, developing, and maintaining websites across multiple platforms. The most typical duties and responsibilities of the web developer include, as a web developer, you'll need to:

• Front-end developer - develops the visuals or interfaces using JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• Back-end developer - develops the actions on a website or web applications using programming languages such as Python, PHP, Ruby etc
• Full stack developer - develops all layers of the software

Web Developer Responsibilities:

• write code in one or more programming or scripting languages, such as PHP or JavaScript
• plan and prototype new applications
• design the architecture of the components of an application
• decide on the best technologies and languages for the project
• test sites and applications in different browsers and environments
• problem-solve and fix bugs in existing projects
• test new features thoroughly to ensure they perform the correct task in all cases
• run performance benchmarking tests
• review colleagues' code
• build and test Application Program Interfaces (APIs) for applications to exchange data
• research, incorporate and contribute to open-source projects
• meet designers, developers and project staff for progress updates
• gather requirements from clients and users
• learn and test new technologies, frameworks and languages
• build and maintain databases
• carry out code refactoring and optimisation of existing code
• document code, so other developers can understand and contribute to it
• design information architecture within an application or website.
