Job Description

The candidate will ensure effective waterproofing solutions for basements, terraces, podiums, and wet areas to prevent leakage and structural deterioration.

Role & responsibilities

Develop waterproofing strategy and select appropriate systems (membrane, coating, integral).
Review waterproofing drawings and specifications; approve material submittals.
Supervise application of waterproofing systems at site; ensure adherence to method statements.
Conduct water-tightness tests, flood tests, and maintain QA/QC records.
Coordinate with structural and finishing teams to prevent interface issues.
Investigate leakage complaints and implement corrective actions.
Train site teams on waterproofing best practices.
Ensure compliance with IS codes and manufacturer guidelines.
Maintain inventory and consumption records for waterproofing materials.
Prepare reports on waterproofing progress and quality audits.

Preferred candidate profile

B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
3-5 years in waterproofing works for large-scale projects.
Expertise in waterproofing systems, IS codes, and testing protocols.
Strong documentation and vendor management skills
