Key Responsibilities: 1. Design and analysis of water retaining structures, including reservoirs, tanks, and other infrastructure related to Water Treatment Plants (WTP) and Sewage Treatment Plants (STP). 2. Prepare detailed design calculations, structural drawings, and technical documentation for projects. 3. Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client specifications for water retaining structures. 4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including civil engineers, process engineers, and project managers to deliver high-quality designs. 5. Conduct site visits as required to monitor the implementation of designs and provide technical support during construction. 6. Perform structural assessments and suggest rehabilitation measures for existing structures, if needed. Qualifications and Skills: 1. Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Masters degree preferred). 2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in structural design of water retaining structures, specifically WTPs and STPs. 3. Proficiency in design and analysis software such as STAAD Pro, ETABS, or equivalent tools. 4. Strong understanding of material behavior, especially concrete, in water retaining environments. 5. Familiarity with international and local design codes (e.g., IS 3370, Eurocodes, ACI). 6. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Skills: 1. Experience in seismic and dynamic analysis of structures. 2. Familiarity with construction techniques for water retaining systems. 3. Certification in relevant structural engineering software or practices.

Prepare design reports, load calculations, and coordinate with architects and MEP engineers for clash-free design. Ensure design compliance with relevant IS codes and international standards where applicable. Should have a strong grasp on Bending Moment, Shear Force, Shear Walls, Diaphragm Actions, Stiffness Modifications, Static & Dynamic Analysis.
