Warehouse Team Leader

Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, dispatch, and inventory control. Allocate tasks and monitor team performance (pickers, loaders, helpers, etc.). Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse zones. Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of incoming and outgoing goods. Coordinate with transporters, suppliers, and internal teams (e.g. sales, inventory). Conduct regular stock counts and assist in audits. Enforce safety procedures and warehouse discipline among workers. Train and mentor warehouse staff as required. Requirements: Minimum 2–4 years of experience in warehouse operations (1+ years in a supervisory role preferred). Strong understanding of warehouse processes (inward, outward, stock management, etc.). Ability to operate warehouse equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks (optional but preferred). Basic computer skills (Excel, inventory software, etc.). Good leadership and team management skills.
