Location: Mumbai / Bhiwandi

Reports To: Customer Service Manager
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for managing day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of pharmaceutical products in compliance with GMP/GDP guidelines. The role emphasizes adherence to regulatory standards, safety practices, inventory accuracy, and timely order fulfillment to support overall business operations.
Supervise the receipt, storage, and dispatch of raw materials, finished goods, and packaging materials.
Ensure proper handling, labeling, and binning of products as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Monitor material movement to ensure FIFO/FEFO and expiry date compliance.
Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS or ERP systems (e.g., Adage).
Conduct daily cycle counts, monthly stock reconciliations, and variance analysis.
Report stock discrepancies, damages, or pilferages promptly.
Ensure compliance with GDP and other applicable pharmaceutical warehousing standards.
Maintain complete and accurate documentation including GRNs, stock registers, and batch traceability records.
Support internal and external audits by maintaining readiness and proper documentation.
Lead and supervise warehouse assistants, forklift operators, and helpers.
Assign daily tasks and monitor performance to achieve productivity targets.
Train team members on SOPs, safety procedures, and hygiene standards.
Manage forklift hiring and operations as required.
Enforce safety protocols and ensure proper use of PPE by all staff.
Maintain warehouse conditions (temperature, humidity) as per product storage requirements.
Handle temperature-sensitive materials with appropriate care and documentation.
Coordinate with Customer Service, Finance, Clearing Agents, Freight Forwarders, and Transporters.
Liaise with logistics partners for timely and cost-effective dispatches.
Optimize workflow to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Education: B.Pharm / D.Pharm with relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Experience: 4–6 years in warehouse operations, preferably within pharma or healthcare sectors.
Knowledge:
Strong understanding of GDP, GMP, and warehouse SOPs.
Proficiency in WMS/ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of pharmaceutical documentation and batch traceability.
Skills:
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work under time-sensitive conditions.
Full-time, 5 days a week (Monday to Friday).
General shift hours; may require overtime based on dispatch schedules.
Occasional Saturday work as per business needs.
