Warehouse In Charge

As a Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations to ensure efficient operations and productivity targets are achieved. Your role will involve strategically managing the warehouse layout, enforcing operational policies, maintaining health and safety standards, managing stock control, preparing budgets, and liaising with clients, suppliers, and transport companies. Additionally, you will be involved in recruiting, coaching, and motivating employees, as well as producing regular reports and statistics on warehouse activities. Key Responsibilities: - Strategically manage the warehouse in compliance with company policies and vision. - Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations. - Set up layout and ensure efficient space utilization. - Initiate, coordinate, and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures. - Adhere to all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements. - Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security. - Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system. - Prepare annual budgets. - Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies. - Plan work rotas, assign tasks appropriately, and appraise results. - Recruit, select, orient, coach, and motivate employees. - Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report, etc.). - Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided. Qualification Required: - Proven work experience as a warehouse manager. - Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices. - Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives. - Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). - Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases. - Leadership skills and ability to manage staff. - Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication skills. Please note the minimum qualification required for this role is any graduate in any specialization with a maximum age of below 30 and a minimum of 5 years of experience in warehousing (experience in Optical line will be an added extra benefit).,
