Job Details

• Work Location: Swargate
• Pune Shift: 12:30 to 9:30 PM IST 
• Education: B.Com/M.Com/MBA Finance 
• Experience: Strong experience in accounting operations, mainly Record to Report with knowledge in QuickBooks, SAP or Netsuite or bill.com and MS - Excel

Role & responsibilities

The role of a Sr. Accountant is to ensure that the tasks assigned are completed on time, accurately and completely.

• Good Knowledge of end to end accounting, financial statement preparation finalization
• Expertise on Reconciliation, Invoicing, Payables and Receivables processing.
• Preparation and analysing monthly financial statements, reviewing with CFO/clients and resolving their queries
• Preparation of weekly Cash Forecast for clients• Review, processing and reconciliations of Payroll
• Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements like 1099, Audit requests etc
• Complete the assigned tasks accurately, completely, on time by following process checklists and documentation.
• Assist in project / process transitioning from new or existing clients
• Develop and maintain effective customer relationships (rapport)
• Working with team to manage and deliver the results through KPI
• Identify the areas of improvement and provide the necessary technical/operational support Competencies/success factors

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong excel and analytic skills. Well-organized and comfortable managing multiple projects.
• Team-oriented with a collaborative attitude to working in a demanding and intellectually challenging environment.
• Good communication skills
• Strong Excel and Analytic skills
• 2+ years of related experience on an accounting or reporting team.
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Preferred education and experience

• Experience leading people and working collaboratively across the organization.
• Experience with US-based insurance companies.
• Practical experience in statutory reporting.
