Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Design, select, and specify
field instruments, control systems, and automation equipment for process applications.
Supervise installation, commissioning, and calibration
of instruments and control loops.
Troubleshoot and optimize
PLC/DCS-based control systems to improve reliability and performance.
Develop and review P&IDs, loop diagrams, and instrument datasheets.
Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance
activities for instrumentation systems.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and industry standards
(ISA, IEC, ISO) during all engineering activities.

Preferred candidate profile: -

Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of field instruments, control valves, transmitters, PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems.
Design & Documentation:
Ability to interpret and prepare P&IDs, loop diagrams, and instrument datasheets.
Troubleshooting & Maintenance:
Skilled in fault diagnosis, calibration, and performance optimization of control systems.
Software Proficiency:
Familiar with PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, ABB, etc.), SCADA, MATLAB, or LabVIEW.
Standards & Safety:
Understanding of ISA, IEC, and SIL standards with focus on process and functional safety.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.

Educational Qualification: - B.E./ B.Tech./B.Sc./M.Sc./ M.E./ M.Tech
