Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Piping Engineer specializing in Piping Layout Design, Stress Analysis, and Material to join our Gandhinagar office. The ideal candidate will have 5-15 years of experience in the field and a strong background in engineering excellence. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity, safety, and reliability of piping systems across various projects. Key Responsibilities: - Serve as a Senior Piping Engineer within a project task force team, focusing on FEED, Design, and Detail Engineering activities/projects. - Provide technical management and guidance to piping personnel, ensuring proper work distribution. - Coordinate activities with specialist engineers, including stress and material leads. - Ensure implementation of project specifications, procedures, and design requirements. - Coordinate with other disciplines and participate in meetings to assist in technical matters with clients, vendors, and contractors. - Engage in 3D Modeling using S3D/E3D, support modeling, and conduct piping studies of columns, exchangers, pumps, and compressors. - Review vendor drawings, check isometrics, and prepare SPM Data sheets. - Participate in key project reviews, plot plan reviews, HAZOP, lesson learned workshops, constructability reviews, and design/model review meetings. - Organize periodic internal 3D model reviews and assign job responsibilities to designers during these reviews. Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. - 5-15 years of experience in Layout Design, Piping Stress Analysis, and Piping Material Engineering. - Extensive expertise in piping design/engineering, including 3D modeling in S3D/E3D, piping studies, vendor drawing reviews, and participation in key project reviews and meetings. - Strong coordination skills with other disciplines and effective technical communication with clients, vendors, and contractors. - Proficiency in stress analysis software such as CAESAR II, E3D/PDMS/S3D, or equivalent. - Strong understanding of material properties, selection, and specifications. - Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, ISO). - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
