You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality validation campaigns in real or simulated environments, ensuring the safety and reliability of our embedded solutions. Day-to-day, youll work closely with cross-functional teams across the business (system, project, product, quality, and safety teams), design and execute test plans, and contribute to the development of our advanced railway solutions.
Youll specifically take care of functional testing at both subsystem and system levels, but also design and validate test environments and tools.

Performing functional testing using NI TestStand tools

Designing overall test architecture, test cases, and test scenarios

Executing test sessions and producing test reports

Investigating and resolving defects detected during testing

Specifying, designing, and validating test environments and tools

Ensuring test traceability and compliance with software, V&V, and safety processes

Contributing to workload estimation and scheduling

Managing V&V work products under configuration management

Collaborating with global teams and adapting to different geographical contexts

Bachelors or postgraduate degree in Engineering IT, CS, ECE, EEE, or equivalent

4+ years of experience in verification and validation of complex embedded systems

Experience in requirement/functional-based testing on host and target-based environments

Proficiency in testing with NI TestStand suite

Experience in scripting languages such as Python or Perl

Knowledge of test life cycles, defect management, and debugging
-
Familiarity with tools like ClearQuest, Git, Reqtify, and DOORS
-
Understanding of standards such as CENELEC SIL4 or DO-178B
-
Domain knowledge in railway signalling, avionics, or a similar engineering field

Knowledge about any scripting language like VB, Python
-
Strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

A flair for learning technologies specific to the railway domain
