Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Identify
Volume and Performance Testing (VPT)
scope through explicit and implicit non-functional requirements (NFRs).
Collaborate effectively with
business and technical stakeholders
to clarify requirements and designs.
Assess and define the
Performance Testing approach
based on NFRs and system architecture.
Develop and execute
LoadRunner/Performance Center
scripts using
VuGen
for Web (HTTP/HTML) and Web Services protocols.
Perform advanced scripting including
correlation, parameterization, and error handling
.
Conduct
client-side and server-side monitoring
using tools such as
AppDynamics, Dynatrace
, or equivalent.
Analyze logs to identify performance bottlenecks and root causes.
Evaluate
end-to-end VPT
results, breaking down response times across downstream systems.
Monitor and analyze
hardware performance parameters
(CPU, Memory, Network, I/O operations) during tests.
Define and interpret key performance metrics such as
throughput, response time, and thresholds
.
Understand
test environment setup and configurations
for accurate performance assessment.
Assess
database performance
and its impact on system throughput (Oracle, MongoDB, DB2).
Utilize
Service Virtualization
tools such as
CA DevTest
to simulate unavailable dependencies.
Work with
cloud infrastructure environments
(AWS, OpenShift) to execute scalable performance tests.

Required Skills

Expertise in
LoadRunner / Performance Center
(mandatory).
Strong experience with
AppDynamics / Dynatrace
monitoring tools.
Solid understanding of
API architecture
and performance implications.
Strong knowledge of
database concepts
affecting performance (indexes, queries, connections).
Proven experience in
log analysis and system profiling
.
