VP Payment Services

As an experienced professional joining HSBC's Global Processing Services and Operations (GPSO) team, you will play a pivotal role in improving service quality and strengthening internal controls. Your responsibilities will include tightening internal controls, improving turnaround times, reducing costs, and benchmarking processes against industry standards to ensure HSBC's Service Delivery teams achieve best-in-class status. Additionally, you will lead the engagement model with group Centers of Excellence (CoEs) to drive standardization initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Execute process strategies to achieve best-in-class status in the electronic processing team. - Implement robust controls across processes to ensure sustainability. - Interface with regulators for cross border remittance oversight to protect the Bank's reputation. - Drive automation and digital transformation in operational processes to support business growth ambitions. - Collaborate with various business functions to drive performance and strategic objectives. - Stay updated on industry developments and quality tools to enhance productivity and reduce costs. - Proactively maintain high productivity levels, low costs, and customer satisfaction through process improvements. - Train staff on HSBC values and process controls to ensure operational effectiveness and control. - Implement an effective Business Continuity Plan.
