Job Description

Role Overview: As the Ops Sup Sr. Manager at Citigroup Inc., you will be a key member of the senior management team responsible for managing a department to provide operations support services in coordination with the Operations - Core team. Your primary goal will be to ensure the seamless delivery of operations support services in alignment with Citi's operations support infrastructure and processes. Key Responsibilities: - Manage professional teams and departments by delegating tasks and responsibilities - Conduct performance evaluations, compensations, hiring, disciplinary actions, and terminations of team members while maintaining appropriate staffing levels - Monitor the quality and efficiency of the team's end results, and manage all training and development needs of assigned personnel - Create and develop budgets, policy formation, and short-term resource planning - Handle occasionally complex and varied issues with significant departmental impact - Apply in-depth knowledge to integrate areas within the sub-function and contribute to the goals of the entire function - Provide evaluative judgment based on analysis of information in complicated and unique situations - Ensure essential procedures are followed and contribute to defining standards - Operate with a limited level of direct supervision, exercising independence of judgment and autonomy - Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to senior stakeholders and/or other team members - Manage teams effectively, assess risk when making business decisions, and ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations Qualifications: - 10 - 12 years of experience in managing teams, preferably in a banking environment - CA, CMA, or any equivalent certification with strong Excel skills - Team player with attention to detail, leadership skills, and critical thinking abilities - Ability to work under pressure, manage deadlines, and adapt to unexpected changes - Strong organization and time management skills - Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills Additional Details: Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer, encouraging all qualified and interested applicants to apply for career opportunities.
