to support, maintain, and enhance our virtualization and Windows-based infrastructure. This role involves managing private cloud environments, virtualization platforms, and enterprise Windows services while ensuring system reliability, security, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate with Quality Managers to ensure adherence to processes, document deviations, and maintain compliance.
Follow, maintain, and update engineering standards for the design, deployment, and operation of vCenter infrastructure.
Stay updated on the latest developments in virtualization technologies.
Configure, validate, qualify, and administer virtualization platforms, ensuring optimal performance.
Provide Level 4 support for all technical issues related to virtualized infrastructure.
Organize and manage the installation, deployment, upgrades, and repairs of virtualization platforms.
Consult with the Architecture Team, Service Managers, and Project Teams on deploying applications in private cloud environments.
Design, coordinate, and execute migrations to private cloud platforms, including VM migrations from on-premises to the cloud.
Support Windows infrastructure operations, including Active Directory, DNS, Office 365 mail configurations, and database servers.
Install and configure IIS web servers, Application Request Routing, and SQL mirroring with log shipping.
Provide L3+ escalation support for platform issue resolution, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and system performance optimization.
Manage and troubleshoot virtualization technologies, including VMware, Hyper-V, and Xen.
Proactively resolve AD, DNS, DFS, and GPO-related issues.
Monitor system performance and capacity across Windows and VMware environments.
Support IIS infrastructure from development through production environments.
Work on VMware ESXi 5.X, 6.X, 7.0, and 8.0 environments, including installation and configuration of VMware ESXi hosts and vCenter.
Prepare Statements of Work (SOW) and execute virtualization projects efficiently.

Required Skills & Expertise:

Extensive experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, and Xen.
Strong knowledge of Windows infrastructure, including Active Directory, DNS, Group Policies, and Office 365.
Expertise in IIS web server configuration and SQL Server administration.
Proven experience in private cloud migration and virtualization platform support.
Hands-on experience with VMware ESXi versions 5.X to 8.0.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle escalations effectively.
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure security, system performance monitoring, and optimization.
