Senior Windows & VMware Administrator with Automation

• Windows Administration

• Manage and administer large-scale Windows Server environments (68 years experience).
• Provide advanced troubleshooting for OS, clustering, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and WINS.
• Support Windows File Services including DFS, DFSR, NTFS, SMB shares, and large data migrations.

• VMware Administration

• 6+ years of proven expertise in

  VMware virtualization

   (ESXi, vCenter, vSphere).
• Administer and troubleshoot environments with

  4000+ VMs across 100+ ESX hosts

  .
• Configure and manage

  HA, DRS, SRM

  , and perform

  P2V, V2V, V2P migrations

  .
• Install and configure ESX servers, virtual switches, storage, and network connections.

• Automation & Scripting

• Automate infrastructure tasks using

  PowerShell, Python, or other scripting tools

  .
• Support

  infrastructure-as-code

   adoption and operational efficiency improvements.

• Infrastructure Support

• Administer SQL databases as part of infrastructure operations.
• Work with Dell server hardware and provide

  Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

   for incidents.
• Support backup & recovery solutions, OS monitoring, security, and compliance automation.

• Collaboration & Documentation

• Partner with global teams to deliver end-to-end enterprise solutions.
• Create and maintain process documentation, ensuring adherence to compliance and best practices.

• Experience:

• 8+ years in

  Windows Systems Administration

   and troubleshooting.
• 6+ years in

  VMware virtualization

   (consulting/enterprise environments).
• 4+ years in

  automation

   (PowerShell, Python, etc.).

• Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of

  Windows OS, Active Directory, clustering, networking concepts

  .
• Expertise in

  File Services

   (DFS, DFSR, NTFS, SMB shares).
• Exposure to

  cloud platforms (Azure/AWS)

   is a plus.

• Education & Certification:

• Bachelor’s degree in

  Engineering/Technology/Computer Applications (B.E/B.Tech/MCA)

   or equivalent.
• Preferred certifications:

  VMware 7.x/8.x, MCP/MCSA/MCSE
