Job Title:VMS Operator - SecurityPosition Type:Full-time

• Monitoring & Surveillance
• Operate and monitor live CCTV/VMS feeds across multiple locations.
• Identify, track, and report suspicious activities or security incidents.
• Maintain situational awareness and escalate issues to supervisors.
• System Management
• Ensure all cameras, servers, and recording devices are functioning properly.
• Perform routine checks, troubleshoot technical issues, and escalate when needed.
• Manage video storage, retrieval, and archiving as per company policy.
• Incident Response
• Provide video evidence for investigations, audits, or law enforcement requests.
• Document incidents and maintain accurate logs of surveillance activities.
• Support emergency response teams with real-time video intelligence.
• Compliance & Reporting
• Follow organizational security protocols and data privacy regulations.
• Generate daily/weekly reports on system performance and incidents.
• Ensure adherence to ISO/ISMS or other relevant security standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in operating Video Management Systems (e.g., Milestone, Genetec, Honeywell, Hikvision, Axis).
• Familiarity with CCTV hardware, IP cameras, and networking basics.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in high-pressure environments.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with security and IT teams.
• Prior experience in corporate security, facility management, or law enforcement preferred.

Work Environment

• Security control room or centralized monitoring center.
• Shift-based work (24x7 coverage may be required).

Requirements:

• Any bachelor's degree. HS with good experience can also be considered
• 3+ years of experience in similar role
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to do monotonous job

Competency:

• Willing to work on rotating shift
• Good understanding of safety norms, fire safety protocols, and maintaining a hazard-free environment.

Preferred Skills (Technical):

• Experience using VMS
